The Pittsburgh Pirates have placed Justin Lawrence on the 15-day IL with right elbow inflammation. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)
Fantasy Impact:
Lawrence's move to the IL comes as a bit of a surprise. He threw two-thirds of an inning on Tuesday, walking two, but showed no visible signs of discomfort. Manager Derek Shelton said the right-hander "just didn't feel right." In a corresponding move, Mike Burrows was promoted to the active roster.
