Aaron Schunk (groin) made starts at third base and second base for Triple-A Albuquerque during his rehab assignment over the weekend. He went 2-for-7 with a home run and two RBI in those games for the Colorado Rockies affiliate. Schunk has been on the injured list since April 26 with a left groin strain.
Fantasy Impact:
Before landing on the IL, Schunk appeared in seven games for Colorado and hit .250 with one run over 21 plate appearances. He is projected to handle a utility role once activated. Ezequiel Tovar (hip) and Tyler Freeman (oblique), the latter also projected for a utility role, started in games with Albuquerque on Saturday and Sunday as well.
