Bryce Elder delivers another quality outing Friday night
by Nate Miller | Braves Correspondent | Sat, May 23rd 11:02am EDT
Bryce Elder allowed just one run on five hits and one walk while striking out four over six innings in Friday's 5-4 win over the Nationals.
Fantasy Impact:
This game was decided in the 11th inning, so Elder did not factor into the decision, but he did continue his outstanding season. Aside from a solo homer in the sixth, the 27-year-old righty shut down the Nationals offense, lowering his ERA back below 2.00 through 11 starts. Elder will carry a 4-2 record into his next start on Thursday in Boston.
