Fantasy Impact:
Santander mentioned earlier in the week that his hip and shoulder injuries were limiting his swing, and now an official diagnosis of inflammation will put him back on the IL. An official timeline for a return hasn't been outlined, but the Blue Jays may be more cautious to bring him back too soon again and let these issues persist. He is hitting just .179 with 6 home runs this year.
