Framber Valdez fans season-high 12 in win

Framber Valdez (7-4) earned the win against the White Sox on Thursday, setting a new season high with 12 strikeouts. The left-hander pitched five innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk. It was the second consecutive start in which Valdez has set a new season high in punchouts, and he generated an impressive 20 swinging strikes.

Fantasy Impact:

Valdez has now pitched at least five innings while allowing two or fewer runs in 10 of his 14 outings in 2025. Following Thursday's win, he carries a 3.10 ERA and 1.09 WHIP with a 96:28 K:BB ratio through 90 innings. His next start is scheduled for next week against the Athletics.
