The Arizona Diamondbacks placed Moreno on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a right hand contusion, retroactive to June 16. (Arizona Diamondbacks on Twitter)

Sidelined by a right hand contusion, Moreno becomes eligible to return from the injured list on June 26. In his absence, Jose Herrera is expected to handle most of the catching duties, with Aramis Garcia, who was added to the roster Thursday, stepping in as the backup.
