Tyler Matzek signs minor league deal with Cardinals

Fantasy Impact:
Matzek was released by the Cardinals on June 15 but re-signed with the club on a minor league deal just four days later, being assigned to Triple-A Memphis. He hasn't seen big-league action with the Cardinals this year, but he posted a 4.26 ERA and 2.53 WHIP over 6.1 innings with the New York Yankees earlier this season.
