James Wood hits walk-off homer in two-homer game

James Wood accounted for all of the Washington Nationals' offense in Thursday's 4-3 extra-inning win over Colorado, going 2-for-5 with a pair of two-run home runs. He hit a two-run shot off Chase Dollander in the fourth inning and delivered a walk-off blast against Seth Halvorsen in the 11th.

Fantasy Impact:

The 22-year-old outfielder is one of eight players in baseball to reach the 20-homer milestone this season. He has launched four of those home runs in his last seven outings. Through 329 plate appearances in 2025, Wood is slashing .284/.380/.564.
