The Red Sox placed RHP Hunter Dobbins on the 15-day injured list with a torn ACL in his right knee.

The injury ends the season for Dobbins. He faces a lengthy absence with hopes of making a full recovery for next season. He posted a 4.13 ERA with 45 strikeouts across 61 innings (13 appearances, 11 starts) this season.
