The Boston Red Sox activated Nick Burdi from the 60-day IL and have optioned him to Triple-A Worcester. (Chris Cotillo on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Burdi has completed his rehab assignment for a hip and foot injury and will get some work in at Triple-A for the time being. In 5.1 big league innings this season, he's recorded five strikeouts and has not allowed an earned run.
