The Pittsburgh Pirates placed Oneil Cruz on the 7-day concussion injured list on Wednesday. (Pittsburgh Pirates on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
During Tuesday's game against the Milwaukee Brewers, Cruz was removed in the sixth inning after a collision with his teammate Jack Suwinski in the outfield. With Cruz sidelined, Suwinski and Alexander Canaerio are expected to see increased playing time. In a corresponding move, Ronny Simon has been recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis.
