Josh Hader (shoulder) shut down for three weeks

by Vince DiSilvio | Astros Correspondent | Fri, Aug 15th 3:42pm EDT

Josh Hader (shoulder) has been diagnosed with a left shoulder capsule sprain. He will be shut down for three weeks. (Brian McTaggart on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Hader went for a second opinion on Friday, and the plan has been put in place to stop throwing for at least three weeks. He will be re-evaluated at that point, where the next steps will be determined. Bryan Abreu will likely get the most save opportunities in the meantime, with Bennett Sousa seeing some as well.
