Texas Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said that Cole Winn could return as early as Friday against the Houston Astros. (MLB.com)

Winn, who has been on the 10-day injured list with right arm fatigue since August 20, pitched a hitless inning of relief on Tuesday for Triple-A Round Rock as part of his rehab assignment. He could be activated for the Rangers' weekend series against the Houston Astros.
