Fantasy Impact:
Soroka logged 2 1/3 innings during a Triple-A rehab outing this past Thursday, and it was reported that his next appearance would be back with the Cubs. The right-handed swingman was acquired at the trade deadline, but he has been on the IL ever since his first outing with the Cubs due to a shoulder issue. Soroka has exclusively worked as a starter so far this season, posting a 4.86 ERA with 90 strikeouts across 83 1/3 innings. He is expected to work out of the bullpen for the Cubs going forward, however.
