Trey Yesavage officially called up for MLB debut

A first-round pick just last year, Yesavage has blazed through the Blue Jays' farm system this season. The 22-year-old righty was most recently at Triple-A Buffalo, where he made six appearances (four starts) and posted a 3.63 ERA with a 26-11 K/BB ratio across 17 1/3 innings. He has struck out a whopping 160 batters over 98 innings overall this year. Yesavage currently slots in as the Blue Jays top prospect and the No. 5 overall pitching prospect per MLB.com.
