David Fletcher retires from professional baseball

David Fletcher has retired from professional baseball, Robert Murray of FanSided.com reports. The veteran infielder last appeared in the majors in April 2024 and spent the 2025 season at Triple-A Gwinnett in the Braves organization. Fletcher, 31, ends his career with a .276/.323/.358 batting line across parts of seven MLB seasons. (Robert Murray)
Fantasy Impact:
Fletcher’s retirement brings an end to his seven-year major-league career. He had not been on the fantasy radar since 2023 and can be safely removed from all formats.
