Atlanta claimed right-hander Carson Ragsdale off waivers from the Orioles on Thursday. Baltimore had designated him for assignment last week after he allowed eight earned runs over five innings across two appearances. Ragsdale fared better at Triple-A, finishing the season with a 4.87 ERA and 1.47 WHIP over 88.2 innings. (Atlanta Braves)
