Patrick Wisdom heads to Seattle on minor league deal

Patrick Wisdom has agreed to a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners. The deal should include an invitation to Spring Training. (Aram Leighton on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Wisdom played in the KBO last season and belted 35 home runs in 119 games. The corner infielder had three consecutive 20-home run seasons with the Cubs from 2021-23 with a career-best 28 round trippers in 2021. However, Wisdom's main issue has been his alarming strikeout rate of 36.7% in parts of seven seasons. Wisdom's MLB experience and his power should give him a shot to make Seattle's opening day roster, especially if Eugenio Suarez leaves via free agency.
