Ziehl and a player to be named later were sent to the Red Sox in exchange for veteran righty Jordan Hicks and right-handed prospect David Sandlin. Ziehl, 22, posted a 4.12 ERA in 22 outings (21 starts) between the Yankees' and White Sox minor-league organizations in 2025.
