Jackson Kowar signs minor league deal with Twins

Jackson Kowar has signed a minor league deal with the Minnesota Twins. The deal includes an invitation to major league spring training. (Dan Hayes on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Kowar regularly touches triple digits on the radar gun, but it hasn't translated to success at the big league level to date. In parts of four seasons, Kowar has an 8.21 ERA and a 1.93 WHIP in 91 career innings with the Royals and Mariners. However, the righthander showed major improvement last season in Seattle, posting a 4.24 ERA in 17 innings. Kowar is heading to an organization with opportunities available in the bullpen. With his stuff and experience, he could land a spot on the opening day roster.
