Tyler Stephenson has won his arbitration case against the Cincinnati Reds and will earn $6.8 million in 2026. Cincinnati filed at $6.55 million. (Gordon Wittenmyer on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Stephenson had an injury-plagued season in 2025 as the catcher was limited to just 88 games. He batted .231 with 13 home runs and 50 RBI in 342 plate appearances. Stephenson has played parts of six seasons, all with Cincinnati, and is a career .261 hitter with 63 home runs in 1,979 plate appearances. Stephenson should return to being one of the better hitting catchers in baseball and, if he can stay healthy, could reach the 20-home run mark for the first time in his career.
