New York Yankees manager said on Wednesday that Gerrit Cole has completed a number of bullpen sessions this offseason and is scheduled to throw live batting practice in a couple of weeks. (Brendan Kuty on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Cole underwent Tommy John surgery last March, forcing him to miss the entire 2025 season. It’s a positive sign that he will begin throwing live batting practice soon, and Boone has not ruled out game action late in spring training. While he is progressing well, the plan remains for Cole to return in May or June.
