Miles Mikolas signs with Nationals on one-year deal

Veteran righthander Miles Mikolas has signed a one-year deal with the Washington Nationals. The contract is worth $2.25 million plus incentives. (Jon Heyman on X)
Fantasy Impact:
The 37-year-old Mikolas pitched to a 4.84 ERA in 31 starts with the Cardinals last season. He has made at least 31 starts in four consecutive seasons, but his numbers have not been great since his second All-Star season in 2022. Over the last three seasons, Mikolas has gone 27-35 with a 4.98 ERA in 529.1 innings. He will provide a quality veteran presence in the young Washington rotation, but he won't help much from a fantasy standpoint.
