Blake Snell (shoulder) uncertain to be ready for Opening Day

Blake Snell (shoulder) has remained limited to throwing off of flat ground leaving his availability for Opening Day in jeopardy. (Katie Woo on X)

Fantasy Impact:

Snell made only 11 starts last season for the Dodgers due to shoulder issues, pitching to a 2.35 ERA with 72 strikeouts in 61.1 innings. The two-time Cy Young Award winner has been plagued by injuries over the past two seasons, combining for just 31 starts with the Giants and Dodgers. He seems to be at least a couple of weeks away from making his Cactus League debut, but if he can pitch in live game action around that time, any possible stint on the IL to start the season should be relatively short.
