Jack Brannigan (nose) no timetable for return
by David Leisering | Pirates Correspondent | Mon, Feb 23rd 7:53pm EST
Jack Brannigan (nose) left Sunday's exhibition game early after getting hit in the face with a ground ball. The infielder sustained multiple injuries to the nasal complex and will see specialists to determine his timetable. (Jason Mackey on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Brannigan is on the Pirates' 40-man roster but was likely not going to make the opening day roster as he has yet to make it past Double-A. He played 59 games with Altoona last season and batted .225 with five home runs and nine stolen bases. He will likely be a factor with the big league club in a year or two.
