Steven Wilson (back) ruled out for Opening Day

Wilson (back) was acquired by Tampa Bay via trade this offseason. He sat out significant time during the 2024 season due to back problems. (Marc Topkin)
Fantasy Impact:
Manager Kevin Cash said Friday that Wilson has back issues and is unavailable for Opening Day. Whether the current problem represents a recurrence of the 2024 issues remains unclear. Wilson has not appeared in any Grapefruit League games this spring.
