Kyle Stowers (hamstring) was scratched from his scheduled appearance in the starting lineup on Saturday. He has been diagnosed with a "very minor" right hamstring strain according to Marlins' manager, Clayton McCullough. (Christina De Nicola on X)
Fantasy Impact:
The Marlins dodged a bullet as Stowers appears to have avoided a major injury. Stowers enjoyed a breakout season in his first year with Miami as he earned his first career All-Star nod, batting .288 with 25 home runs and 73 RBI in 117 games. He's expected to miss a week or two of game action but could take batting practice outside of games within the next couple of days.
