Ryan Mountcastle (hand) back Saturday

Mountcastle left Wednesday's game after taking a pitch off his right hand, but X-rays came back negative and he told reporters Friday the hand is "all good." He's expected back in the lineup Saturday against the Pirates after a couple days off. (Jake Rill)

Ryan Mountcastle said his right hand is “all good.” He knew he was fine when he could flex it because when he broke it in 2018, he couldn’t do that at all.

Not playing for Orioles today, but that was always the plan. He expects to be good to go for tomorrow.

Fantasy Impact:

Mountcastle was limited to 89 games last season due to a hamstring strain and posted a .653 OPS when available. Baltimore signed Pete Alonso to take over at first base this offseason, leaving Mountcastle's role in the lineup unsettled heading into 2026.
