It doesn't sound like the youngster is in trouble of missing much time, but the Red Sox wanted to keep him out of the lineup on Sunday to be sure. The 23-year-old hit .228 with four homers and a .674 OPS in 44 games for the Red Sox last season, but wrist issues derailed his season.
