Yoshinobu Yamamoto has been named the Opening Day starting pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers against the Arizona Diamondbacks the club announced. (Los Angeles Dodgers on Twitter)

Yamamoto is coming off of an impressive 2025 season for manager Dave Roberts, posting a 0.99 WHIP and 2.49 ERA in 30 starts (12-8, 201 strikeouts) on the mound.
