J.P. Crawford (shoulder) Opening Day status in doubt
by Bruno Mulé | Mariners Correspondent | Wed, Mar 18th 11:21am EDT
Crawford has been limited by a shoulder issue for most of spring training, appearing in just seven Cactus League games and going 2-for-18 at the plate. He received an injection Wednesday and will be shut down for a few days as a result. (Ryan Divish)
Fantasy Impact:
Manager Dan Wilson said it's unclear whether Crawford will be ready for Opening Day next Thursday against the Guardians. If he can't go, Leo Rivas and Colt Emerson are candidates to start at shortstop.
