Josiah Gray (flexor strain) placed on 60-day IL

The Nationals have placed right-hander Josiah Gray on the 60-day injured list due to a right flexor strain. (Nationals Communications on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
The club optioned Gray to Triple-A to work through the strain, but opted to place him on the 60-day IL and select the contract of left-hander Cionel Perez. Gray has missed most of the last two seasons due to Tommy John surgery and has another ominous arm injury hanging over him to begin the 2026 campaign.
