Cal Quantrill will not make Rangers Opening Day roster

Rangers right-hander Cal Quantrill has been informed he will not make the Opening Day roster, according to general manager Chris Young. (Shawn McFarland on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Quantrill signed a minors deal with the Rangers in late January, but was shelled for seven earned runs with just one strikeout in four innings of Cactus League action this spring while also suiting up for Team Canada at the World Baseball Classic. It's unclear if the 31-year-old will remain in the Rangers organization moving forward.
