Vaughn Grissom (hand) to begin season on IL

Angels second baseman Vaughn Grissom (hand) will begin the season on the injured list, according to manager Kurt Suzuki. (Jack Janes on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
While he won't begin the season on time, Suzuki added that Grissom is "progressing well" and "he's hitting off the tee, doing ground balls, moving around." Grissom is in his first year with the Angels after spending the entire 2025 season with Triple-A Worcester in the Red Sox organization, hitting .270 with 13 homers, nine steals, and a .783 OPS in 96 games.
