Geraldo Perdomo provides Diamondbacks' offense Thursday

by David Leisering | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Thu, Mar 26th 11:57pm EDT

Geraldo Perdomo went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run as the Diamondbacks dropped an 8-2 setback against the Dodgers on Opening Day.

Fantasy Impact:

Perdomo accounted for the Diamondbacks' only offense, belting a two-run home run off of Dodgers' starter, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, in the top of the fourth inning. Perdomo picked up where he left off last season as the shortstop finished fourth in the National League MVP voting after hitting .290 with 20 home runs and 100 RBI. He also swiped 27 bags a season ago. While he only hit a combined 14 home runs in his first four seasons (401 games), Perdomo can easily reach a 20-20 season again in 2026.
