Emmet Sheehan Suffers Short Outing in First Start

Emmet Sheehan allowed four earned runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six over 3.1 innings in Friday's win over the Diamondbacks.
Fantasy Impact:
He started the game hot, striking out the side in the top of the first inning, but driving up his pitch count in the process. He gave up two hits and a run in each of the second and third innings, but returned for the fourth. He started the fourth inning with a single, a strikeout, and a double before being pulled, and a double from the next batter allowed his two runners to score. While the results aren't great, the strikeouts were encouraging. He's lined up to face the Nationals next week.
