Michael Lorenzen settles for no-decision Saturday

by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Sat, Mar 28th 11:23pm EDT

Michael Lorenzen went 4.1 innings and allowed three runs on seven hits with no walks and four strikeouts in a no-decision against the Marlins on Saturday. Miami earned a 4-3 over Colorado.

Fantasy Impact:

It was Lorenzen's first-ever start in a Rockies' uniform as he signed with Colorado as a free agent in January. He needed 93 pitches to get through 4.1 innings, but his only real mistake was a two-run home run by Liam Hicks in the fifth inning that ended his day. The veteran righthander went 7-11 with a 4.64 ERA with Kansas City last season. His next start is tentatively scheduled for next weekend against the Phillies. He remains off the fantasy radar except for deep leagues.
