Kyle Karros steals first career base Saturday
by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Sun, Mar 29th 9:07am EDT
Kyle Karros went 0-for-3 with his first career stolen base in Colorado's 4-3 loss to Miami on Saturday.
Fantasy Impact:
Karros has started at third base in each of the first two games for the Rockies and has gone 1-for-6 with a pair of strikeouts. He hit .226 with a home run in 156 plate appearances for Colorado last season. Karros is a solid contact hitter as evidenced by a .304 average in three minor league seasons. However, he hit just 21 home runs and stole 22 bases in 237 career minor league games. Karros is off the fantasy radar, but he is the starting third baseman in Colorado.
