Colin Holderman has been optioned to Triple-A Columbus by the Cleveland Guardians. Lefthander Kolby Allard was called up to Cleveland in a corresponding move. (GuardsInsider on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Holderman, who signed as a free agent with Cleveland back in December, appeared in two of the Guardians' first four games this season. The righthander allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits with two walks and three strikeouts in three innings of work. He would likely be a top choice to return to the majors if Cleveland needs another righty in the pen.
