Liam Hicks hits two-run blast Monday
by Nicholas Rodriguez | Marlins Correspondent | Tue, Mar 31st 7:02am EDT
Liam Hicks went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and one run scored in Monday’s 9-4 loss to the Chicago White Sox.
Fantasy Impact:
With right-hander Davis Martin on the mound for the White Sox, Hicks drew the start behind the plate and hit cleanup. He took full advantage, launching a two-run home run in the fourth inning with a 105.1 mph exit velocity. While he has primarily been in the lineup against right-handed pitchers to start the season, it’s an encouraging sign that he’s 3-for-8 with two home runs and six RBI. He is expected to be back in the starting lineup on Tuesday with right-hander Erick Fedde on the mound for Chicago.
