Eury Perez allowed four earned runs on two hits and six walks while striking out four over four innings in Friday’s 8-2 loss to the New York Yankees.

Perez’s fastball touched 100.2 mph and generated 11 swings and misses. The problem on Friday was his command, as he issued six walks over four innings. Perez acknowledged after the game that the cold, cloudy 58-degree conditions affected him.
