Framber Valdez allowed zero earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings in Friday's 4-0 win over the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Valdez continues an impressive start to the season on the mound, allowing one run or less to go along with five strikeouts in each of his first two starts. After the win, the left-hander now has a 0.75 ERA and 1.08 WHIP to go with a 1-0 record across two starts and offers fantasy managers a stable No.1 starting option in all formats as part of a talented Detroit rotation for manager AJ Hinch.
