Nolan McLean labors, but limits damage in win
by Chris Schommer | Mets Correspondent | Sat, Apr 4th 1:56pm EDT
Nolan McLean worked around some traffic and still did enough to snag a win as the Mets rolled, allowing one earned run on one hit and two walks while striking out four over 5 1/3 innings.
Fantasy Impact:
McLean continues a steady start to the season on the mound, allowing two runs or less to go along with four or more strikeouts in each of his first two starts. After the victory, the right-hander now has a 2.61 ERA and 0.87 WHIP with a 1-0 record and providing fantasy managers with a stable starting option despite pitching behind an inconsistent Mets lineup to this point.
