Benge continues a dismal stretch at the plate, failing to record a hit in five of his last six games. Through seven games, the outfielder is batting an underwhelming .130 with one home run, two RBI, three runs, and three steals as one of many in the Mets lineup off to disappointing starts for manager Carlos Mendoza.
