Anthony Kay escapes with little damage against Blue Jays
by Chris Schommer | White Sox Correspondent | Sun, Apr 5th 9:24am EDT
Anthony Kay allowed two earned runs on three hits and two walks while striking out zero over 4 1/3 innings in Saturday's win over the Blue Jays.
Fantasy Impact:
Kay has opponents in check despite longevity issues on the mound to begin the season, allowing less than three runs in each of his two appearances while failing to make it through five innings in either contest. The left-hander remains difficult to trust for fantasy managers in deeper formats as part of an underwhelming White Sox rotation to begin the season, posting a 4.00 ERA and 1.33 WHIP to go along with a 0.80 K/BB ratio in two appearances.
