Troy Johnston homers as part of three-hit night Monday
by David Leisering | Rockies Correspondent | Tue, Apr 7th 1:03am EDT
Troy Johnston led the Colorado offense on Monday as he finished 3-for-5 with two runs scored, a home run, and two runs batted in. The Rockies defeated the Astros, 9-7.
Fantasy Impact:
Johnston continued his torrid start to the 2026 season as he finished a triple shy of the cycle on Monday. Johnston reached on a bunt single in the second, had an RBI double in the fifth, and belted a solo home run off of Ryan Weiss in the seventh. It was Johnston's second home run of the season and he is now hitting .333 (10-for-30) with two doubles, two home runs, and five runs batted in. It looks like he will be a regular in the Rockies' lineup so he may be worth taking a flier on in deeper leagues.
