Jorge Soler homers then part of fifth-inning brawl

Jorge Soler had an eventful night in Los Angeles on Tuesday, hitting a first-inning home run before being ejected for a fifth-inning brawl as the Braves defeated the Angels, 7-2.

Fantasy Impact:

Soler hit a two-run home run off of Braves' starter, Reynaldo Lopez, in the bottom of the first inning to start his night. He was hit by a pitch in the third and then took exception to a high wild pitch from Lopez in the fifth, charged the mound, and benches cleared. Soler is now 14-for-23 with five home runs and three doubles against Lopez in his career. The home run was Soler's second of the season and he now has 10 runs batted in on the year despite hitting just .220 with 19 strikeouts in 41 at-bats. Several punches were thrown by both Soler and Lopez, so a suspension is likely forthcoming. An announcement from the league should be handed down on Wednesday.
