Eury Perez allowed four runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings in Wednesday’s 7-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds.
Fantasy Impact:
Perez allowed two runs in the first inning due to a Graham Pauley error at third base, but settled in, tossing scoreless innings two through four before giving up a home run to Sal Stewart in the fifth. Wednesday’s performance was a solid bounce-back after his four-run, six-walk outing against the New York Yankees on April 3. Perez now owns a 5.06 ERA and 1.38 WHIP through three starts and will look to deliver another solid outing in his next scheduled start on Monday against the Atlanta Braves.
