Bryan Baker struck out one batter while allowing two hits over a scoreless frame to earn the save in Friday's 5-3 win over the New York Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Baker ran into early trouble, allowing back-to-back singles to open the inning, but bounced back with three straight outs to secure his second save of the season without allowing a run. Through five appearances, he has given up just one earned run and owns a 12.6 K/9. Although the Tampa Bay Rays are using a closer-by-committee approach, Baker appears in line for the majority of save opportunities at the moment, thanks to his 1.80 ERA.
