Diaz hit cleanup for the Tampa Bay Rays for the first time in 18 months and made an immediate impact, launching a two-run homer in the first inning to erase the Yankees’ early 2-0 lead. Rays manager Kevin Cash said after the game that the lineup changes may not be permanent.
